Horticultural Genetic Resources Expansion for Varietal Improvement and Conservation

Project Objective:

To expand the genetic base of NIHORT mandate crops, ensure proper up-to-date standard database maintenance and conservation of these resources in seedbank for orthodox seeds and fieldbank for physiologically long gestation crops and tree crops for use in varietal improvement programs of the institute.
