Dr Olusimbo KENNETH-OBOSI graduated from the Department of Animal Nutrition University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria in 2003 (B.Agric); she had her M.Sc and Ph.D in the Department of Animal Science, University of Ibadan in the year 2008 and 2015 respectively.
Dr Olusimbo KENNETH-OBOSI joined the service of National Horticultural Research Institute (NIHORT) Ibadan in the year 2015 as a research officer in the Farming System and Extension Research Department. She is an animal scientist with strong affinity in the conservation and utilization of horticultural waste as livestock feed, integrated horticultural/livestock farming system, gardening and phyto-remediation. She has over the years been carrying out research on integrated (horticultural crop and livestock) farming system and conservative use of horticultural waste. She has been involved in the training of support staff, student on industrial training and National Youth Service Corp members. She established livestock farm in Farming System Programme of NIHORT, Ibadan. Her research interest include integrated (horticultural crop/livestock) farming system, horticultural waste conservation and utilization, Pasture establishment, dairy production and organic (phyto-mediation) livestock through utilization of fruit, vegetables, spices and ornamentals crops.
Dr Olusimbo KENNETH-OBOSI is a member of International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS), Member Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON) Member Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN), Member Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) and a Registered Animal Scientist (NIAS/RAS/1386).
