Dixon Henry Gbenga started his career in Environmental with some private firms in the year 2008 at Lagos and joined the team of prolific Scientists at the National Horticultural Research Institute, Ibadan, Oyo state in the year 2015 as a Research Officer 1 at the Farming System and Extension Department. With over a decade in the environmental field, I have been part of the team who carried out the environmental audit of Oando filling station, Ogba, Lagos State, landscaping of Nigeria Maritime and Safety Administration, Apapa Lagos. Bring the same experience on board into the field of Agriculture; I have gone into research in areas that has to look into level of contaminates in soil, crops, food safety and effects of climate change on home garden. Parts of skills include handling of field layout techniques, statistical analysis, project evaluation and writing and scientific proposal writing. Member of Horticultural Society of Nigeria, Biochar Initiative of Nigeria and Organic Agriculture of Nigeria. Supervision of student’s project from College of Agricultural Technology, Moore Plantation Ibadan and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Examiner at West Africa Examination Council (W.A.E.C.) Nigeria. Dixon has to his credit 4 international journals, 2 local journals and 9 local conferences.
