Marketing of pineapple is essential as its production because effective marketing systems helps to harmonized demand and supply as well as stimulate production. The study examined the economic analysis of pineapple marketing in Delta State. A multistage sampling techniques was used in selecting 33 respondents for the survey. Data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study revealed that 84.8% of the respondent were male 60.6% of them were aged between 31 50 years , 97% had at least primary education, 69.7% were farmers and 97% had at least 5 years of experience in pineapple marketing. The study also showed that the most common source of marketing information used by the marketers is telephone (42.2%). The most severe constraint faced by the marketers was the perishable nature of pineapples (17.02%). A market margin of N73, 484. 09 per week and marketing efficiency of 1.32 were obtained in the study area while the structure of pineapple marketing in the study area was found to be 0.38. The constraint of perishability observed in the study can be reduced by ensuring proper handling of pineapples while the efficiency of pineapple marketing can also be improved upon. Proper handling of pineapples can be achieved with the use of plastic trays during transportation.
