Dissemination of improved technologies on fruits and vegetables under the unified Agricultural extension systems in Nigeria.

A study to determine the relative coverage for fruits and vegetables under the new agricultural extension services dispensation using 1996 titles for presentation at monthy technological review meetings (MTRMs) in three agriclutrla zone; North-east, Middle belt and south-west zones were 5.6%, 3.9% and 4.0% vegetable related titles were 7.4%, 7.8% and 4.6% respectively. For siffcient capacity building in fruits and vegetables technologies, more titles should be slated for presentation in MTRMs for the country to benefit from their export potentials
