Nutrient supply is very essential for optimum and nutrient content. The study was aimed at examining the effect of fertilizer application on the yield and curcumin content of turmeric. A potted experiment was carried out using 5 levels of Nitrogen (0, 45, 90, 135 and 180kgN/ha) and 5 levels of potassium of potassium (0, 45, 90, 135 and 180kgK/ha). The experiment was arranged in a 5X5 factorial fitted into Completely Randomized Design with three replications. Data were obtained on the biomass yield. Rhizome yield curcumin contents of the rhizome, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium contents of the plant. Applications of nitrogen and potassium significantly enhanced the yield and curcumin content of turmeric. The highest biomass (7.61g/plant) and rhizome (16.67g/plant) was obtained with the application of 135kgN/ha and 180kgK/ha. The combined application of 135kgN/ha and 180kgN/ha was the most suitable for turmeric production in terms of yield and curcumin content.
